What is laser hair removal?

Unlike other methods such as waxing and shaving, laser hair removal gives long lasting results. Polaris can achieve permanent hair reduction of up to 90%. Any hair that does grow back will be lighter and softer.

Can it be used on any skin type?
We are pleased to be able to treat any skin type, ranging from fair to very dark. We will assess your skin type based on the Fitzpatrick scale below and are able to adjust our lasers to suit your needs:
Type 1: always burns, never tans (pale, freckles)
Type 2: usually burns, minimal tanning
Type 3: sometimes burns mildly, tans uniformly
Type 4: burns minimally, always tans well (moderate brown)
Type 5: very rarely burns, tans very easily (dark brown)
Type 6: Never burns (deeply pigmented dark brown to darkest brown)
